On Gamknot the team score of 24 on October 25, 2017 was the highest ladder postition the team attained while I was Captain.

Currently I mostly play in the U1500 tournaments as my rating is from around 1350 to 1400.

I finally broke through and finished 10th place out of 73. No place to win yet, but pleased with the progress I am making on lichess. 3/11/2018
I started playing live matches over on lichess about a 3 month s (January of 2018). Finally broke the spell and got 2nd place, in March of 2018. Sheez...competition is tough there!
The tournament was named 7 Minute Beginners Arena. However, 1696, 1750, and 1573 ratings are not beginner ratings.
I am slowly starting to get an understanding of how some of the features of the site work. Tournaments generated by players are limited to a 7 minute/2 second add for the maximum time.
If one elects a private tournament, then there is a broader range of time settings which are available.
The one thing I will start to do is give the tournament name which glorifies our Lord. For example, the name of this tournament was "God is my strength" taken from Psalm 73:26
The advantage was burncheese (Brother Ryan) quoted scripture in the chat channel. I did as well. It introduces Jesus, there can be follow up contacts to those who played in the tourney.

I signed up for this tourney, it was close to ending. I didn't plan on winning anyting, just play a couple of games. Sheez, Bambix2 slapped me around in the first one. I was up by 6 points but the King was trapped and forced out of hiding. The second game I dethroned Tim_t and took 2nd from him

I am trying to name the tournaments with a Christian Theme. This one I selected Iron Sharpens Iron.
I learned how to set the rating limits which will help keep the big dogs out. My second game with rafaeltp waited until the tournament was over, still had a couple of minutes left on the clack then resigned. He did not want a win for me while the tournament was still going as it would have counted for me and I would have tied for first place. All kinds of tricks for 1st place!!! He offered a draw, but I wanted the rating points.

I dropped in on the tourney, played one game. The tourney was just about over, so I got the win and did not have to play another one. Wound up with an easy 2nd place on 08/08/2018
Fun Game for me
I have been having a tough playing the 5 minute games I have just been not able to increase my rating. Up and down. I went back to playing 10 minute tourneys. This is better, 13 out of 130 players. I had 3 wins and one loss. My favorite was aagins t Wadorc, feel it was one of my strongest games for awhile

I dropped in to the tourney, was matched for one game as it was almost over. The tourney leader failed to move so I won. This caused him to have won one game and lost to me, I didn't even have to move a pawn as he failed to move.
